The entire version is buggy. Messages don't appear in the inbox until I scroll the cursor in the box. Occasionally freezes up. I see others are having the same problem.

Does Help > Restart with add-ons disabled help?

If not, options > type "accel" > uncheck "Use hardware acceleration"

I Hate the new interface. I have to Click a button every time I want to ADD a new email address. Previously I only had to press enter. When a person is typing, reaching over to grab the mouse is additional effort, I receive many emails a day the last thing I need is MORE work. I have dropped Firefox, now it appears I will have to drop Thunderbird!!! Are you listening? RGB

Thanks for this. It worked in safe mode so now I'm adding in one add-on at a time. So far so good.
