All page sizes are different and they do not fit the page. Words overlap each other. They are overlapping on this small page I am filling out. Font size is different on every page. Zoom will help until log off then they go back to different sizes. Windows 7 sucks!!! I do not know how to create a screen shot to show issues.

Are we talking about Page zoom or Text zoom? If page zoom isn't resetting it, switch to Text zoom.

more options

Neither zoom feature works.

There's a section at the bottom of the Text zoom article about the minimum font size. What is that set to?

more options

Sizes are set to 13,13 and 18 as the minimum font size. I have tried them all.

If you close Firefox, then start Firefox in Safe Mode, does the problem still occur? For instructions on starting in Safe Mode, see Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

more options

Yes, problem still in effect in safe mode.

more options

Your Firefox settings and info are kept in a folder separate from the Firefox program, called your profile folder. Try creating a test profile, to see if the problem still occurs. See Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles

more options

That made it worse. All font sizes and page size were even smaller.

more options

If you increased the minimum font size then try a lower setting (default is none) as a too high value can cause issues like you described. Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors: Advanced > Minimum Font Size Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors: Advanced > "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above" .......... If you need to increase (or decrease) the font size on websites then look at: NoSquint - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/2592 Default FullZoom Level - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/6965

Default Zoom level made text so small it was not readable. Had already tried No Squints. It did not help. I have tried as you suggested with font size settings. Sizes will not stay. Each time I open Firefox text is once again small and is a different size on every page.

Thanks for wasting my time that I have worked hours on.

Try to adjust the DPI setting, see layout.css.dpi

Try to set the pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to 2 on the about:config page. --- To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

Windows 7 will not let me open any of your suggestions. It will open an IE page saying that access is denied.

I too have a font size problem; varies with different websites, if increased the lettering can either disappear or become superimposed on other lettering. I purchased a 24 inch screen and it is useless for enlarging font size to make it easier for me to read.
