After the update, it no longer saves passwords! Why is this? And yes, I checked all the settings. I have "remember passwords" checked and there are no exceptions.

I'm tired of always having to type in all of my long passwords and usernames. It didn't give me this issue unit after I updated to version 4.

Make sure that you not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode.

  • You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
  • To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
  • Uncheck: [ ] "Permanent Private Browsing mode"

Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Remember passwords for sites"
