New Firefox looks no different than the old one (before Version 4).
When I upgraded to Firefox 4, I noticed that the screenshots of the new version (in the tutorials) looked nothing like my browser did. Same thing with Firefox 5. Nothing seems to have changed, and the features that appear in the screenshots of the new version are not on mine at all. It still looks pretty much the same as it has all throughout Version 3.

Does this thread help:
In Firefox 4 and 5, the Firefox button that replaces the Menu Bar (File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help) is on by default only in Vista and Windows 7; Windows XP users must turn on the Firefox button. In XP you can turn on the Firefox button and turn off the Menu Bar is you wish by changing whether Menu Bar is checked or un-checked.
- Note: Menu Bar checked = Menu Bar on, Firefox button off; un-checked = Menu Bar off, Firefox button on
- using Menu Bar: click View > Toolbars > Menu Bar
- using Firefox button: click Firefox button > Options > Menu Bar
- keyboard shortcut: HOLD down the ALT key while pressing the keyboard letters VTM (repeating the keyboard shortcut will toggle Menu Bar on or off)
"Tabs on Top" can be turned on or off (checked = tabs above toolbars; un-checked = tabs below toolbars as in version 3.6.x and prior).
- using Menu Bar: click View > Toolbars > Tabs on Top
- using Firefox button: click Firefox button > Options > Tabs on Top
- keyboard shortcut: HOLD down the ALT key while pressing the keyboard letters VTT (repeating the keyboard shortcut will toggle Tabs on Top on or off)
