For the past three days when using firefox my Outlook e-mail has not allowed me to send any e-mails. I have been able to receive new e-mails perfectly however when I go to reply, or create a new email the bars where "to" and "Cc" and "Subject" only half load and then I can not type any thing into them. Also the letter part of the email will not allow me to type into it. On top of this I can not attach files or send blank e-mails. This is only occurring on my Firefox browser and it's troubling because this one is my preferred browser to use. Please help! Thanks!

I'll start with a general suggestion because nothing else comes immediately to mind...

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache

Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.

Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.

(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:

  • right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Also, in case some information is overflowing the space available, could you try adjusting the zoom level on the site? Hold the Ctrl key and tap the - key to shrink text, and/or tap the + key to enlarge text, and/or tap the 0 (zero) to reset to the default zoom level. Any difference in what you can see?
