Today I opened Thunderbird as I always do and the page popped up but none of my account folder are showing on the left side as normal. both sets of folders are gone. How do I get them to show up. I have a screen print to show.

You might have to delete some files from the profile folder (they will be automatically recreated when you restart TB):

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Toolbar_or_windows_layout_not_working

Select Help/Troubleshooting Information, click Show Folder, exit TB, and delete or move these files: folderTree.json, directoryTree.json, localstore.rdf, panacea.dat.

That did not work either.

We did reboot computer, after 3rd try again, the files showed back up!

It looks like something was quarantining your mail folders, preventing TB from displaying them. Do you use an antivirus program and allow it access to the TB profile?
