how do i prevent my downloads from being marked as blocked?
When i download program updates, they are marked as blocked and won't run until I go in and unblock them. doesn't work good for auto updates!!

Is it Firefox that is blocking you from downloading the files or is it Windows that is preventing you from opening them?
Firefox downloads them but it marks them as blocked, so windows won't open them.
Can you please provide us with a screenshot of any error messages that you are receiving?

Please try the following:
- Go to
about:configin Firefox - Locate the
browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone - Change the value of this setting from true to false
