Today while checking my messages. There were quite a few messages that I consider as SPAM. When I checked the ones I wanted to mark as SPAM. The button is off so I can't click on it to send the messages to the SPAM File. What's up with that? Please Respond. I am puzzled and I can't find any of my tools ( File, Edit, Properties etc.) I'm about ready to pull my hair out. I am so confused! Thanks in advance.

Hi Olivia, this site focuses on Mozilla products. It's probably best to use Apple's community forums for support with Safari and your iPad. Here's a link to get you started:

Hi Olivia, are you having this problem on a webmail site like Yahoo, Gmail, or Outlook that you are accessing in Firefox? Or is the problem in the Thunderbird application?

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache

Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.

Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:

"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.

(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:

  • right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.

Then try reloading the page and logging in again. Does that help?

Regarding the menu bar, Firefox allows you to show or hide it in a number of places, including:

  • right-click a blank area of the tab bar
  • right-click the "+" button on the tab bar
  • press Alt+v to drop down the View menu, then Toolbars > Menu Bar
  • use the Customize feature to access the Show/Hide Toolbars button (see: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)

I am having problems with my IPAD. I continue to get Safari can't open. I have one of the older models. And it seems to be limited. I can't play certain games. Which sucks for as much as I paid for this damn thing!
