Yes it picks up all other mail.

And it wasn't filtered as spam or so? By the way have you set gmail up as IMAP or POP?

I checked my spam folder. gmail is set up as IMAP

Here is the problem. There is no such thing as Windows Mail.

There is a mail client released by Microsoft that at one time was called windows live mail, but as a client the mail came from another mail provider, hotmail Gmail, yahoo or whatever.

Microsoft even at one time issued mail addresses with @live.com domains. But those along with @msn.com @hotmail.com have all been sucked in @outlook.com

Additionally if the mail can not be located on the gmail server there is a chance gmail rejected it as spam or for some other reason, or place in in one of their faceted inboxes, friends, family important etc.

Here is the mail that thunderbird won't pick up from my gmail account. All other mails that arrive in my Gmail are picked up.
