When receiving certain web pages, Firefox fails to generate scroll bars. The following is one example site: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/nail
How do I get Firefox to generate scroll bars so that I may see parts of the page beyond the borders of the monitor screen? The web pages associated with this problem display correctly on Internet Explorer 8.

I think the link you posted got cut off, I am getting an error page "Page Not Found".
Can you please post the correct link? A picture would be helpful too. (See this article for instructions on to take a screenshot How do I create a screenshot of my problem? )
I got this far. http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions

Dear Fred McD,
Thank you for troubling to attempt to duplicate my problem. Do you, or does anyone else have a potential solution to suggest? Many thanks. LeeNewby
Can you attach a screenshot and post a link?
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-do-i-create-screenshot-my-problem
- Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?
Note that websites can use CSS code to hide the scroll bar(s).
You may have zoomed web page(s) by accident. Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.
- View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl/Command+0 (zero))
If there a wheel on your mouse, click it. The mouse is now scroll controller.
