have you tried the simple expedient of dragging the entries from the address book to the list? hold Ctrl to copy. Nothing to move.

I just made the switch from problem-laden Entourage for Mac to TB, have all my files and folders done OK, but need to also bring over a couple group mailing lists. I don't see any way to bring over in bulk all the names (they're in a .mailtoloc extension) I'm OK with copying them over one at a tim. BUT, unlike the address book in Entourage, I don't see any way to add more names to the list once they're a TB address list. I can delete them, but if I make a list and input, say 25 names, close it for a day and come back to add more, there's no "+" or "add" button to proceed, it's like the list is locked to any additions. And the list needs to be added to. Any help, most appreeciated.

Thanks for trying, but that didn't work. I did figure out, almost by accident that all I have to do is double click the list and the add list menu drops; clicking the cursor after the last entry + return yields the next row for the next entry. Still bringing the names over one at a time but at least it works.

import to Thunderbird as a CSV file. I talk a little here about opening text in a spread sheet and correcting column headings and correcting other little data wobbles.

Much fast that typing for mare than a few contacts.
