tools icon does not display "enable javascrpit" under the contents tab..where do i find this?

i click tools tab and select options,then i click on contents tab to ensure that ENABLE JAVASCRIPT is selected but i cannot see that tab at all under my contents..it is not listed.

Do you have issues that websites report that JavaScript is disabled?

Verify that JavaScript is enabled and isn't blocked.

  • The javascript.enabled pref should be true on the about:config page

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

The check boxes to enable/disable JavaScript and load images automatically have been removed from "Options > Content". You can look at this extension:
