On Windows 10 opening Thunderbird opens 20 or more times without stopping then locks up.
Starting 9/30/2015 Thunderbird when clicked to open, opens several Thunderbird start pages without stopping, then locks up my computer. I have to open task manager and shut it off. If it locks up completely where I can't get tax manager to open, I have to turn off my computer. I've uninstalled the program 3 times and reinstalled it, I've tried compatibility mode, and still same problem. I'm running windows 10, and have been for about two months now, and just started having this problem. I'm using the most up to date version of Thunderbird...don't know what else I can do. A couple of times, it didn't do it immediately upon opening, but at some point when I was on the computer, it just started opening several pages of Thunderbird without me even using it...I was reading laws and codes on a PDF page.

1. Close all windows but one before shutting down Thunderbird, then shut it down. 2. If it still happens, do you have the minimize to tray addon installed?
I can't close anything down, it keeps opening windows till it locks up. I can't minimize, or do anything. The screen when it's doing this and is on Thunderbird keep flickering because it's loading screens so fast.

It will work in safe mode, but it doesn't make it go away in normal boot up. I deleted Thunderbird with beta, and found an older version without the beta, and that seem to work fine, so I will stick with that for now till the fix Thunderbird. Thank you so much for the input.
