I keep getting random crashing in version 38.3.0 of thunderbird when either clicking on a email, clicking delete on a mail or dragging the mail in the junk folder.

when thunderbird gets stuck it freezes and you get the windows program has stopped responding looking for solution and in the end you have to just stop the application. On restarting the thunderbird software no crash report or error log has been recorded.

Running windows 10 64bit pro and thunderbird v 38.3.0

So Thunderbird is not crashing, it's freezing. These are different things. What is your anti-virus software?
