Hello

I'm using Firefox 46.0.1 on Mac OS X, Yosemite.

It constantly displays the circular loading animation for tabs. How do I stop this behaviour? I have to manually visit each tab and refresh the page to stop the animations.

I often open Firefox while off-line, or don't want every single tab to attempt to load that page every time I start Firefox. It's a waste of network resources.

It's frustrating and distracting to constantly see animations while browsing other pages.

I've enabled "Don't load tabs unless selected" under "General" preferences, but that doesn't solve the issue.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it

Thanks FredMcD, but why would a Flash blocking plugin solve this, when the issue I'm experiencing is related to Firefox's own animations on the actual tabs themselves?

The blocker prevents clips from playing until you want them to.

Those are icons (sometimes gifs) sent from the website.
