I have played CBS Fantasy baseball for years. I used to have Google Chrome. I got an virus/infection last year on Chrome, so decided to download Firefox, and uninstalled Chrome. I have NEVER had that problem with Firefox. But this year, my screen displayed so big on my Fantasy site that I had to shrink it to see most of my scoring page. Then the letters were so small I would need a magnifying glass to see them. So just for the hell of it, I installed Chrome again, and lo and behold, the format was better and I could see most of the page. However, I went to some roommate site on Chrome this morning and BAM! Got another virus. So I once again uninstalled it. Now everything is fine because I am using your browser, but my screen is either too big to see the page without scrolling down, or I have to shrink it to 67% and can't see the letters too well. Is there any way I can change the format? Mainly the subheadings are taking up too much space.

You may have accidentally zoomed web page(s). Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0/Command+0 (zero))

You can open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut via the right-click context menu and check the "Compatibility" tab. Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.

If you have made changes to Advanced font size settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the Default font size setting "16" and the Minimum font size setting "none" in case the current setting is causing the problem.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not getting displayed properly.

You can set layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to 1.0 (default is -1) on the about:config page. Adjust its value in 0.1 or 0.05 steps (1.1 or 0.9) until icons or text in the user interface looks right. Modifying layout.css.devPixelsPerPx affects user interface and web pages (global zoom).

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
