Hi, I just started using Thunderbird email app. I like to attach photos to emails. When I do this in Thunderbird, however, the receiver gets the photos as part of the message.

Is there a better way to attach photos to emails? Thanks.

Hi, Matt, Right now, I just click on the little "paper clip" and add them.

the receiver gets the photos as part of the message.

What exactly does this mean? And what would you expect instead?

I mean, when the reader finishes reading the message, there are photos on the bottom of the message that they can see.

When I used to use Windows Live Mail, I could attach the photos and the reader would have to click on them to open them or save them to their desktop.

So you have noticed that Thunderbird offers an options to view certain attachments inline. It is a view option. and it is up to the person receiving the mail if they want it, not the person sending the mail. If you do not want to see the attachments inline, turn off the option on the view menu. But remember the only one you are affecting it you.
