I can't reply to messages rec'd in my gmail accts; started a few days ago

using Firefox on Windows 7 computer... just in the lasts few days, i cannot select reply to on a gmail message and reply. I can type in the reply, but cannot send the email. My gmail account also freezes when this happens all I can do is close the account, exit Firefox and restart my computer.

What is this about??? Firefox is updated to latest version...need help work from home on this computer.
