Using Ubuntu 16.0.4. Thunderbird 52.4.0. Changed my yahoo password to very long un-crackable type. Now get message..."The current operation on 'Inbox' did not succeed. bla bla bla [CLIENTBUG] bla bla bla. I followed other users solution but did not find the menu structure they described. i.e. I don't have the 'Tools-options-security-passwords-saved passwords menu. Also, I am not getting a change password dialogue box because its coming up with the error above. Can't this just be easy. Don't you want it to work for complete idiots like me. (I know, i only have a degree in comp sci, but really, I don't have time for this)

They are your menus; explore them.

ISTR that a fix for this error is to remove the domain part from the user name. So if your email address was john.doe@yahoo.com, you use just john.doe for your username.
