I just downloaded the new version of Firefox and everything in by bookmarks toolbar and bookmarks folder is gone. I've tried to restore the defaults to no avail. I've turned on the bookmark toolbar but it's empty.

I use the items in the toolbar every day and I need them restored. Please help.

So my issue was fixed, and I'm not sure how. I had lost my shit about my bookmark toolbar being empty, and having no bookmarks in the library. I had tried the "Restore Defaults" option, and on the surface it didn't seem to have any affect. So I completely closed the browser. I then remembered something I had to look up so I restarted Firefox and lo and behold there were my bookmarks.

So if anyone else has this issue I'd recommend restoring the defaults, close the browser and then re-open it. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't
