What happens if you type the wrong email address when registering for Sync account?
Hi, i typed in the wrong email address when setting up SYNC and fear that the verification email has gone to someone else's email address. Will this person be able to access my SYNC information if they verify the sync email that they received? Should i be worried?
Thanks for your time :)

Nothing to worry about, just create another Firefox Account using the correct email address.
If some else who got that email just happened to have a Firefox Account they wouldn't have the correct password to be able to connect to your Sync account. The "user set" Password (like 10 or so keyboard characters) for the Firefox Account is used to create a 65-character "Login password" for Sync login on the Sync server and the algorithm to create that 65-character password differs so the chance of the Sync Login Password ever being the same "accidentally" is astronomically low. Only your devices and the Sync server will ever see that long Password.
Plus the internal password for data encryption is also 65-characters, and recent versions of Firefox have a total of 5 algorithmically created Passwords for different types of data being exchanged by the user thru the Sync server.

HI, no, they will not as the account is specific to the address and once have done a Sync with another Device/s (note plural use as Sync is not made for doing backups ) there will be a token dropped on to each device so that they can communicate to Sync.
Just use your correct email address and make new user name and password.
But first, cancel the old one. Note: they still need the password.

The Sync account is linked to a specific email address, so if you type the wrong email then you won't be able to confirm and use this account. If someone else would have this email address and confirm then it would be used for his computer, but as long as you haven't confirmed the email then nothing has been uploaded from your computer to that account. The initial sync only starts after you have confirmed the ail address. You only need to create a new Sync account with the correct email address.
