Cannot login on store.playstation.com
Hi all,
I am having an issue trying to login on store.playstation.com. I already tried the solution posted here - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1219434 - but with no success. Following you will a summarized issue report.
- Expected Behavior: click on the "Sign-in" anchor inside the webpage (see the second image, captured from Chrome 68) to enter my credentials and login to the service.
- Current Behavior: no "Sign-in" anchor is displayed inside the webpage. Instead the loading spinner on the top right (see image attached) keeps looping until this error message is displayed, "Unable to Find This Page It may be unavailable or the address may be incorrect. Select [Home] to continue browsing the PlayStation™Store.".
- Console output:
SyntaxError: An invalid or illegal string was specified webIframeRedirect.html:26 Non è stata dichiarata la codifica caratteri di un documento inserito in un frame. Il documento potrebbe apparire diversamente se visualizzato al di fuori del frame. webIframeRedirect.html SyntaxError: An invalid or illegal string was specified webIframeRedirect.html:26 Non è stata dichiarata la codifica caratteri di un documento inserito in un frame. Additionally, I tried connecting to the webpage using a private tab/windows and to manually disable each third-party plugin, but again with no success.
Thank you for your time.

Does other Browsers do the same issue?

Firefox is the only one at the moment. I tried with: - Chrome 68, - Edge 42, - IE 11, - Opera 54
None of those had any issue
Do you have any type of adblocker installed in FF?
@WestEnd
You can check the System Details list next to the question. Note that the OP also posted the extensions under the plugins section, so you may want to scroll the list for the actual extensions.
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems
Firefox shows the shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case content is blocked by Tracking Protection.
- click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection
- You can check the Web Console by Tracking Protection
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems:
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Manage Data
"Clear the Cache":
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
@cor-el Thank you for reply. Unfortunately it did't resolve the issue. Following you will find some answers to your list.

Any specific messages in the Web Console or possibly in the Network Monitor?
You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.
You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.
If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.

Sorry for some Italian in the Web Console output. Let me know if I have to translate any error/warning.
Thank you

Recently, I tried accessing the website from Firefox on Android, but I got the same results of the desktop version.
