Hi
Was this an email from Mozilla@e.mozilla.org?
If so, that is some perfectly safe marketing material from Mozilla about a new service to help you keep your data safe.

I have this problem too but the email was from Firefox on 1 October with the header "You've been hacked?". I haven't opened the email and am very wary as I expected the email to show the sender Mozilla Firefox. Can anyone advise please?

The email was a newsletter about https://blog.mozilla.org/firefox/firefox-monitor-take-control-of-your-data/
The mozilla @ e.mozilla.org is used for newsletters from Mozilla as you may have signed up for it at some point. Mozilla is the company that makes Firefox.
Mozilla is aware the email subject was a poor choice of words.
Hi James, just wanted to thank you for your very quick response. Now I can open the email with no worries. Your reply was very informative and put me at ease. Once again many thanks.
