So that I can try this here and hopefully find a solution for you, what are you trying to download from where?
its not about where am downloading from or what am downloading, after the download is completed, Firefox doesn't close the notification that shows that something is downloading

I have just tried to download something myself and the file downloaded with just a notification available to take me to the downloaded file.
