I have been running Thunderbird successfully for some years on an i Mac. Have just bought a Macbook Air 2020. Every time I set up the accounts, which load emails OK, I find that the accounts are all deleted every time I close the Macbook down. Help very much appreciated please as I am totally stuck.

generally when this is reported by apple users, it is because they are running Thunderbird's DMG from the download folder. They have not actually installed it, so the contents of the TMP folder are deleted on a restart of the device.

Thanks, Matt. How do I get to the TMP folder and know that is what it is? Is this not something that is temporary? Charles
