Alex Extension Stops Access To Soundcloud

I have found (currently in Firefox 87) that I could not load any part of the soundcloud web site except right after the site cache was cleared. After that, any access for Soundcloud yields an error message "Sorry Something went wrong" (presumably coming from the soundcloud site). It only seems to happen with Soundcloud. All the other websites I use work fine. I tried diabling extensions and discovered the error occurs with the free web analytics extension from Alexa.com (owned by Amazon). When I disabled the extension, the problem goes away.

So I now have two workarounds - (1) clear the soundcloud cache before each reload (with Shift-reload) or (2) disable the Alexa extension.

So what is going on here? Things used to work fine. Whose issue is this (1) Firefox, (2) Soundcloud or (3) Alexa.

(Soundcloud is still asking me to troubleshoot and I submitted a question to Alexa but not sure if I'll get help since the extension is free)

Soundcloud is refusing to help. They say the problem lies with Alexa or Firefox. I submitted a question to Alexa 5 days ago but so far no response.
