I recently had to replace a disc (by disc copy) containing my Thunderbird 78.11.0 email data. Everything appears to be working now except for two things.

1: The "Manually sort folders" V2.0.6 add-on no longer works. When I select the "Sort folders" tab I get a pane without the "Move up" and "Move down" buttons even though they still appear in the "Sort accounts" tab.

2: One of my sub folders cannot be renamed: the rename and delete options are missing when I right-click the folder. I have tried "Repair Folder" but this has no apparent effect.

Any suggestions?

On the Sort folders tab, select 'Use a manually defined sort function' from the 2nd drop-down after selecting the account.

Is the folder that can't be renamed or deleted a user-defined folder or one that is defined on the IMAP server?

Thanks. I was confused by the label "Use a manually defined sort function". Perhaps it would be better as simply "Sort manually" as the user doesn't actually define a sort function?

The problem folder is user-defined.

For the problem folder, if you just want to remove it from display, right-click the account in the Folder Pane, Subscribe, and uncheck the folder. To delete or rename it, try doing so from webmail.
