I can't cut and paste using Firefox when editing my Weebly websites. ***** Edge works OK. I've been editing these sites for 12 years using Firefox in the past without problems. Help. Cheers,

Thanks for the help. As soon as I post this, I'll take my faithful old Firefox, and put it out to pasture. So much for Mozilla Support. THERE IS NONE. Edge or Brave from now on. Not my favourites, but at least they work. Cheers,

I'm not so sure this is a Firefox issue at this point. It could be that Weebly have not checked their website functions after the latest Firefox update.

You say 'cut/copy/paste': But are you copying from another document like MSWord or LibreOffice etc, so it has a load of formatting being copied at the same time? The formatting maybe the issue and not the actual text.

If yes, you are trying to use another program to create the formatting then I suggest you paste the copied text into a simple text editor like Notepad as an intermediate step and re-copy as plain text and paste into edit Weebly. OR you could see if "ctrl + shift + V" works which should remove the formatting and just paste the text. Does the plain text get copied/pasted and saved in the edit in Weebly?

If yes then you need to let Weebly know that it will accept plain text but not copied text that includes formatting. All websites do need to check everything works with latest browser version, but perhaps they are not really aware of this issue.
