My desktop icon gave me a bad link error message, what happened to my forefox account? I upgraded, checked the save settings, and EVERYTHING is gone. All of my saved logins for several hundred sites. How can I restore them?

Let's try this again, I'm looking for help from folks that actually read questions and know what they are talking about.

My desktop icon that opens the Firefox browser, and has for the past 10 years or so, suddenly showed a bad link error and wouldn't open Firefox. I tried to update Firefox, it gave me the option to save my previous logins, settings, etc., which I selected, and when it updated, and the browser opened, everything was gone. Clean slate, NOTHING saved.

Not looking forward to a weekend of reentering data and was hoping that there was a refresh option. If I have to go that route, I guess I'll consider this a lesson learned and use a browser with an actual support network this time.
