i want to remove the useless list all tabs icon but ALL solutions listed on the internet DO NOT WORK either remove this shit or let us remove it

It used to be possible to remove it with a simple change in about:config. Now a more complicated method is required as detailed here: See: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1466632#answer-1678349

We have been told that a user option to remove it will be added in a future release.
