I downloaded AOL instant messenger and ever since, when I try to navigate to a page, if I don't type the specific URL, it takes me to the AOL search engine instead of to the page.

For example, before I downloaded AIM, if I typed "wikipedia" into the address bar, it would take me directly to wikipedia.com. After I downloaded AIM, it will take me to the AOL search engine with the search results for "wikipedia".

Can anyone tell me how to change it back to normal?

edit: I'd prefer not to have to delete AIM if possible. I downloaded it so I could chat with a partner about a presentation we are working on. So if there's a way to solve this problem without uninstalling AIM, that would be great. Otherwise I'll have to wait about a month.
