Firefox 3.6 has been a nightmare of continuing memory crashes (thanks to Adobe's craptastic Flash).

Now, Firefox is doing something weird by using nonstandard API windows, causing SnagIt's AutoScroll to break.

TechSmith, in an effort to FORCE PEOPLE TO SPEND $ TO UPGRADE, has a klugey patch that only works for recent SnagIt versions. THERE IS NO TECHNICAL REASON WHY THE PATCH CANNOT WORK WITH VERSIONS 7 AND 8. IT IS SIMPLY DELIBERATELY NOT OFFERED.

So, thanks, Firefox, for a quirk-ridden 3.6, and thanks to TechSmith for SCREWING YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Thanks to Adobe for screwing us all with Flash-encumbered media. Steve Jobs is RIGHT: He banned Flash entirely.

@snagged - Sorry you've run into problems with Snagit. TechSmith does not force users to upgrade. Let's try to get you up and running.
