We are in creating a web page using web logic portal which will be integrated with some php pages. Both will use their own redirection logic. After entering some value in portal page and clicking a button calls a servlet, which will query the DB for retrieving some value. Then based on the result, we will do a redirect to the same page from which the button was clicked. This doesn't refresh the page. But if the redirect is to some other url it does a refresh.
