I log into Google gmail, poke around a while, hit compose or go to open a message and I get gmail firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. I hit refresh, it says the same thing. I try going to mail.google.com again, it does the same thing... I clear cache and it lets me re-login but it does it every day now, it didn't used to. Every day I have to clear cache more than once just to stay in my mail.

yep, that worked. offline files were the problem. Fresh install of FF yesterday, so don't know why.

None of this is helping. I cannot get to my gmail account. After all this clearing out cache and cookies, all I can do is sign on, then I get hit again with the error message. I work from home and can't use my computer for email now. I was using chrome for a few months but decided to come back to firefox. Looks like I made the wrong decision at the wrong time. Fix this issues and maybe I will come back in few months.

Same problem. Even if the bug has a workaround, I think this will convert a lot of people to other browsers.

I've imported bookmarks from Chrome, maybe that's the problem?
