I guess i should apply as a tech helper if making it up as you go along is the standard for qualifying. we would like to add the toolbars from IE8 instead of playing how many downloads can the suckers handle? i realize i am not a tech but would like to get solutions that work when i ask for support.

You better brush up on how Firefox works a bit before even thinking about trying to help other Firefox users. How do you propose getting an IE toolbar into Firefox? The coding required for Firefox toolbars is vastly different than what is used for for IE. Even the installation process is different, since when has IE used XPI files?
