I run a number of add-ons and that forces me to operate at least 4 toolbars at once( and the status bar too.) However there are numerous problems. 1. In the initial customization I have to make 2 custom bars and then put icons onto the navigation and (possibly broken since it displays nothing) bookmars bar to make it work and then uncheck several bars which I do not want- or I only want them to be toggled on or off at my discretion- including: delicious, last pass and stumbleupon. I have tried activating countless other combinations including making additional custom bars and it simply refuses to work. Any other combination won't get the correct results. 1a. In the intial customization the Stumble upon bar simply refuses to go away and even when I move it's icons off the insist on coming back! 1.b When placing the icons some vanish and some get sticky. Billeo's icon will insist on placing itself in random locations and then act as an active icon and will not allow itself to move. 2. Some icons simply vanish! 2a. The Billeo one vanishes and often times is nowhere to be found when redoing the bars 2b. The Peartrees "reveal" icon repeatedly vanishes randomly- but it does still appear and I can move it back at least a couple of times a day. 2.c I have contacted both vendors and they had no immediate solutions and I have done all the listed help here such as running FF is safe mode, disabling add-ons and the like. I would not be asking the question if it was something that simple. 3. Periodically the menu bar vanishes and this requires a complete redo and frankly it is becoming a pain because also this means going through the other problems and having to redo a bunch of icons. 3a. When the menu bar vanishes you cannot check or uncheck it. It simply refuses and then you have to go reset everything- taking me back to step one again and... 4. I do run quite a few add-ons and is it possible that FF simply can't handle that many without going mangy? 4a. I can provide a list of all of them and currently it is about 60( some get added and some get dropped periodically) and any additional information required
