Live chat is mainly staffed by volunteers, there may have been no volunteers available.

You can ask in this forum (most people that answer questions here are also volunteers)

Sorry, I was not aware this site is volunteer operated. I can thus assume all answers will be unfettered by company politics. Thanks to all of you. How do I rid my system of Google? Through some quirk the Google search page has kicked out my IXQuick search page and only allows me to choose IXQuick from the pull down menu/bookmarked selections. All reasonable suggestions will be attempted until I am free of that devil.
