Everytime I try to open firefox I get a message saying "Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections" I have no idea what that means and how to fix it. I did just find where to change but have no idea what is suppose to be there.

Have you changed something like how you connect to the internet.

  • Are you on some sort of network in an office or school for instance?
  • Do alternative browsers work ?
  • Is it a portable machine ?
