Is it asking you to update addons or download new ones? If it's asking to update them try the following;

  • Click the orange Firefox button on the top left
  • Choose 'Options' and then 'Options' again from the menu
  • In the Options box go to the 'Advanced' tab on the top right
  • Then the 'Update' tab within the Advanced tab and un-check Add-ons
  • Shouldn't ask you to update Addons after that, you'll have to check them from within the Addons section in Firefox.
