I would suggest you do a search first, just did a search and the search results still say malware, spam ads, viruses, etc in the top search results.

ok...I did the search as follows : in firefox 7.0.1. I go into 'tools, add-ons', search all add-ons by string 'bitcomet video'. The result : 'could not find any matching add-ons'.

Can you tell me how and where you are doing your search. This add-on is working fine in CometBird, this is not malware, spam ads, viruses, etc.
