I am trying to view a story that appears on Yahoo today, 2/24. There are 17 photos available to view; however, when I try to go to the next photo, nothing happens.

The story features 17 stars that appear younger than they are. When I try to move through the photos, I cannot. When I click on the arrow to move through the photos, there is no movement. When I open in Internet Explorer, I am able to view the photos normally. Okay, I just realized it is not just this webpage; I cannot view numerous photos that have to be clicked through. What is my problem?

Hi,

Please check if this happens in Safe Mode. Safe mode disables the Extensions and the themes (Appearance) in Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons. Safe mode may help determine if an extension is causing this. Please also try a Ctrl + F5 refresh of the page in safe mode, if necessary. Please note that safe mode also temporarily disables hardware acceleration: Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Advanced > General.

Wilfred,

I started Firefox in Safe Mode and also refreshed with F5 and the problem is still there. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your time.

The Yahoo site seems to be okay (Firefox 10.0.2). You can try a new profile and if it is okay, you can later copy the needed files from the old profile into this.
