Could you describe this in a little more detail?

If you are seeing a bar below the address bar saying that the site wants to refresh, you can allow all refreshes here:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced

On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"

I don't know whether there is a site-by-site way to create an exception to that setting; I haven't noticed one.
