I use to open the bookmarks using the ctrl+B shortcut and they always appeared in a left column. Recently I noticed that there is a search bar in the top of this column, immediately below the Bookmarks title. Is that correct? I don't remember this search bar before.

I have that, too, also Firefox 24 on Windows 7. Don't know whether it's new.
