When I right click the Firefox icon on my desktop, then left click "Open" I get the opening page with Google search option. Using that, I go to the Comcast home page, but there are no Windows icons across the top or bottom of my screen, and no Firefox orange button at top left. How can I restore all of this?

If you are saying you have no tool-bars or anything else on the Firefox window, these may have been turned off. Move your mouse to the top of the window a little below the top edge. Right click. You should see a listing of tool-bars. Are they turned on? If not, turn them on. If everything looks okay from here but still no tool-bars, then start Firefox in Safe Mode. If everything looks good, then something like your settings or an add-on may be the cause. Let us know how you do. But if you still can not get these things back, you may have to reset Firefox.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command+Shift+F).

If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top of the screen to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear. Click the Maximize button (top right corner of the Navigation Toolbar) to leave full screen mode or right-click empty space on a toolbar and choose "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press the F11 key.
