Shockware : definitive issue
Firefox does not support Shockwave Flash. Pluggins are missing with no suggestion. No solution works. It's a waste of to follow blogs and update/install/tune the installation.
All modern sites use Shockwave. I need to understand if Firefox is about to solve that -known- issue or if mozilla recommendation is to go to Internet explorer
thanks

Are you using a Firefox ESR version?
You can check the current update channel and see if there are updates in Help > About.
Your system details list shows that you have installed Shockwave Flash plugin. You can verify on the Adobe Flash Players Test Page that the Flash plugin is working and which version you have.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:
- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

same traditional answer. a list of "things" unuseful, including adobe recommendations out of date.
nothing concrete.
What is clear, now it is that Firefox don't work, and mozila has no idea on how to fix it.
my question is : what is Mozzila advice ? is this to go to Microsoft IE ?
The browser that your posted here with shows that you have the Plugin for Shockwave Flash 12.0 r0 installed for Firefox. It ain't missing!
Why not answer the question that was asked of you?
Are you using the ESR 24.0 version? Or are you using the 3 versions behind the curve 24.0 Release version?
I am using Esr 24.3.0 version
Shockwave flash 12.0.0.77
this is my configuration
Does the Adobe test page show that Flash is installed and working?
Adobe says 12.0.0.77 is installed properly when tested from thier site
That confirms that Flash is installed and working.
If Flash isn't working on some sites then it sounds you you have software that blocks Flash.
If this isn't Firefox or an installed extension then you may have a problem with your security software or malware.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
hi I already tried this in safe mode and did not see any problem nor change.
I have not a flash blocker since it is working fine with Microsoft Internet explorer. rgds
Internet Explorer uses a different version of Flash than other browsers need, so there is no direct comparison.
Exactly, at which websites are you having this problem? Could be a problem with the website, and the way they code for Flash.
BTW, Mozilla is working on "fixing" the problems with Flash, by eliminating the need for Flash in Firefox.
