If I go to http://www.di.fm Firefox 27.0.1 freezes about every 20 seconds. I can test it if I scroll up and down the page, after 20 seconds it freezes for a second.

In Google Chrome the site does work normally.

Start Firefox in safe-mode to see if it works or not. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

I've already tried safe mode, deactivating all plug-ins, changing the graphics card driver (older driver, newest driver).

I've also tried turning off smooth scrolling and auto scrolling.

I think it's a Javascript thing - but it should not freeze Firefox.

If I create a new profile it still freezes every 20 seconds with that website.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode While you are in safe mode;
Firefox Options > Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

I've tried turning off hardware acceleration in a new profile, that also doesn't help.
