How do I uninstall Gmail from my Thunderbird account?

more options

I set up Thunderbird and it works perfectly with my FatCow hosted email accounts. However, I have an old Gmail account that did not install correctly. I can't figure out how to uninstall Gmail and reinstall in Thunderbird. I've search throughout the help forums so far without success. Thanks!
