Fred, there are no Firefox installers for Mac OSX or Linux as you are thinking of Windows.

Anyways perhaps you have both Firefox 34.0 and 35.0 and is starting up 34.0.

Thank you for your responses. I think both times were through Firefox. James is right when I click "About Firefox," it tells me that it's still '34.0.5.' Then I guess my question now is why 35 doesn't get installed while I think I did what I supposed to do and restarted twice? How can I open 35 instead of 34? Meanwhile, now Firefox is strongly recommending to install 35.0.1.

Thanks for your time!
