hi My Firefox for android is hacked by some adware or malware called youradexchange.com and one more which I'm not able to read(as it keeps flicking from one link to another). The browser gets redirected to some inappropriate sites or opens up Google Playstore. I have run anti virus apps but it does not detect anything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Firefox app, but nothing changes. I manually deleted all cookies and other browser data, but nothing changes. I have tried searching the issue on Google but didn't get any solution for Firefox for Android App. Please help not able to use the browser at all.

P.S: I'm using a Nexus 5 Rooted running Android 5.1.0

That sounds bad... couple questions:

(1) Does your Firefox show any add-ons here:

menu > Tools > Add-ons

I think the only one that normally comes with Firefox is the OpenH264 1.3.

(2) Do you have Firefox set to Sync with a desktop system? If so, is that one clean or could some problem settings be transferring?

Also, I've never uninstalled Firefox on Android before, so I don't know whether that flushes all of your data or whether some data is retained during an uninstall/reinstall cycle. If data is retained, you can flush it using Android's App settings, which would be similar to deleting your profile on a desktop version of Firefox:

Settings > Apps > Firefox > "Clear Data"
