Thunderbird has stopped working since I tried to change my account settings and I need help.
I was instructed by my ISP (Toast.net) to cancel my Thunderbird account and open a new one with new settings to accommodate their switch from gmail to mail.toast.net. Thunderbird then just stopped and I can't even get it to open. I don't know how to proceed. Help!

You say "thunderbird then just stopped"; the "then" in that sentence suggests you did something that changed things. What did you do?
